This 1996 (re)production of the Jane Austen novel is my favorite to date. I haven't necessarily cared for the big Hollywood production that came out only a few years ago. It's alright, but doesn't hold a candle to the A & E series, IMHO.

I loved Colin Firth as Mister Darcy - who's role here inpired the Bridget Jones charcter he played. All of the actors/actresses did a fantastic job, I believe.

This is, by far, my favorite Jane Austen novel brought to life!
