Wow! Thanks for the effort you put in to reply to me Basileos. It was really interesting. I fully agree with you. The longer they followed it, the worse it became for them.
And another thing. Why AIMA meant blood. Probably for the the blood of the Comneni. I think it was foolish of them to follow a prophet's words so closely, and to change his words around for their own purpose. What happened to choosing the most able heirs over kin? Like Hadrian and Trajan did? And once again, thanks for the quick reply and the amazing amount of quality information!
