Strabo- you are a harsh, harsh mastress. I remember the old days when I ran the Bunnery at the original AVC, you were a boss with a HEART. Alas, those halcyon days seem to have passed...as to listening to Eirene, I just hate being sucked into these holy wars. You are the Holyman, she is a goddess- well, weighing both things carefully and consulting the myriad pro and con lists (and paying careful attention to the con lists lest con sics a goat on me) I have to go with Eirene, she being annointed and of my gender and very willing to share incense and chocolate tips with me. YOU know longer praise me, give me raises, or give me suggestions as you used to. (a bit more yeast in the bread royale, maia. Those popovers were perfection!) As to squealing on our esteemed Trimalch, I was just trying to follow his example of supreme fairness. (Might I suggest that you take a page from his book, or are you absolutely now corrupted by your mantle of power?)

Trimalch- wild animal? Sure. Suckled by a feral crone? Absolutely. And no one forgets that you have walked all the streets in hell.
However, you say that we willingly trangressed. Au contraire. None of the glorious three (that would be myself, Aulus, and Pomp) were aware that there would be any conflict of interest. We signed no contracts, we didn't misread the signs since there were no signs posted, we ignored no command, since none were issued. In our delicious innocence, we thought that it was possible to join the group in question without consequence. I do appreciate your willingness to join us- as I've mentioned previously, and to anyone who would listen, your wisdom cannot be questioned, your clemency cannot be etc. etc. etc.

Although your wild nature may be an excuse- you being what you are, after all- you did have knowledge of our punishment- the punishment of the unknowing, I might add- and you did it anyway. Is your crime less than ours?

Cornellia- when you put it that way....
