    Scipio Aemilianus did not die young nor while Tiberius was alive, let alone young. Scipio himself was nearly 60 when he died. He was on the preparing a speech regarding Tiberius' agrarian laws and died in the night before he was to give it. Sources vary as to how strongly he opposed the politics of his brothers-in-law and he may have been about to propose a compromise. His death certainly affected Gaius, though.
