I don't know if most people realize that the FIRST group at AncientWorlds was this group - I was chatting with Jot in the very wee, early days of AW, and I think on the first day that groups could be made ;)

I have a notion. Goldfest is our fifth anniversary at AW, and as the oldest academic group at AW, how about this. We use Jot's "Book" format to ask the experts in this group to take an aspect of Caesar's life and career, and create the ADI Essays book to be a permanent asset to this group in particular, and the academic part of the site as a whole.

What do ya'll think? If we all did one or two short articles - they could be historical, editorial, thoughtful, whatever - I think we could come up with something rather neat!
