Benvolio loved his new digs. It was a stroke of luck that he was able to acquire this beautiful property. It's previous owner had run afoul of the wrong people. It was just like anything else in life...EASY COME AND EASY GO! The place was in excellent shape and he acquired it for a song thanks to his buddy Sextus Manlius. He would be vacating his current flat at the Insula Arriana very soon. It had been a nice place to live and was very close to where he worked but who wants to live in a flat when they can have a villa? The upkeep here would be expensive but he wouldn't have moved if he didn't think that he could manage it. Thanks in part to the price he paid for it plus an unexpected inheritance from an uncle who had died without issue. He knew his friend Sextus was going through a tough time at the present. He had agreed to take in the slave Hermes until Sextus had a clearer picture of how things were going to turn out with Aricia. Funny he thought, he had met her one afternoon near the Insula and had found her very charming. Obviously looks and manners could be deceiving.
