If using a one with AA batteries get quality rechargables with at least 2300 mAh. Stay away from low cost wireless mice with rechargeable batteries... you get what you pay for. I have a Logitech rechargeable MX Revolution. It has never lost power even after all day sessions at the computer. Plus, it has lots of buttons and scroll wheels. :D Can't beat wireless... just remember that the receiver may need to be strategically placed.
