Sir Black Knight expertly handles his horse. He is concentrating on a lance break to the shield. Sir Elenwe aiming his tilting spear to strike his opponent's shield urges his charge harder. Spears cross! Whose will land true? Who will flinch? Sir Black Knight misses his mark! The crowd's displeasure is evident from the silence which is broken only by a few boo's and hisses as Sir Black Knight returns to his end of the course.
