I created this district out of inspiration from reading the book "Omm Sety´s Egypt" by Hanny el Zeini and Catherine Dees. Omm Sety was a remarkable woman who lived with the faith that she had once been a young priestess at the Temple of Seti I.
If this is true or not, is not the important thing right here and now. The book describes how she "remembered" where a temple garden had been placed. She located it to the suthwest of the temple, and when the area was excavated, there were found remnants of an old watering system along with traces of trees which had once been planted there.
The idea of a temple garden appealed so much to me, partly because of its romantic athmosphere, partly because it could be a spot forrather free creativity in this hood, which is otherwize so full of history from the most ancient days of Kemet.
So go ahead, create and build to your heart´s desire, the garden walls surround you, birds are chirping, lotuses are blossoming in the pond and the palm trees and sycomores shield you from the hot sun!
