Maia, my way-back first reading aside, in Italian, I have on hand Albert Cook's verse translation and had until recently (lost, purloined, chewed by the dog?) Robert Fagles' one...which I enjoyed tremendously. I also have Finley's "The World of Odysseus", as companion reading. But if others at some point consider a group reading, I'd be willing to get a copy of Lombardo's trans., purely on your recommendation and my partiality to thewy writing. "The Mambo King" as Ulysses? Missed that one...shucks. Thanks for considering the idea!
