I was watching Scooby Doo the other day and I had a few questions. I know what you're thinking, "What was he doing watching cartoons? What is he, 5?"
No, I am 31 and not 5. If I were 5 I would be alot smaller and probably couldn't type this message because I wouldn't know what words mean, and I couldn't even sit at the computer without sitting on my knees.
Anyway, why are they afraid of ghosts in every episode? You would think that they would learn from the past events.
Was Scooby a genius dog? He could talk, although somewhat mumbled, but he could say, "Rooby Rooby Roo" which is pretty good for a dog. But then Scrappy comes along and is all like, "Hey, I'm Scrappy Doo, my uncle Scooby's nephew from upstate New York. Pleased to meet you!" and then that makes Scrappy either a super genius dog or it makes Scooby a retard.
Did they get paid or was it just a hobby? Were they trust fund babies or did they actually get paid to go on these missions? And who paid them to go hang out with Sonny and Cher or Don Knotts?
Finally, and most important, why did Shaggy go every time? He was obviously scared to death of ghosts, so why did he go every time? Plus he always got stuck with Velma on the search party who would lose her glasses, and was basically useless. No wonder he hates ghosts, he has a bad experience every time he encounters a guy dressed up like one.
Anyone got any answers?
