Keu's Bio

I was a well-to-do horsetrader until there was a clash between me, my wife and my lover (who was also my slave for whom I traded a couple of my best horses in Trinovantes land). My life as a horsetrader ended disastrously with my lover Briar accidentally killing my wife while my wife was trying to axe me to death. Baine got the axe from her and meant to murder me, and my wife got between us. Anyway, Briar ran off but not before I gave her my wife's jewelry and clothing, in a failed attempt to woo her. I was not about to give her up so easily, though. I tracked her halfway across Eire, to the Love Affair Inn, where I fell afoul of the patrons of that establishment who were hiding Briar.

After a long series of misadventures, I was forced to join the outlaw band as I chased Briar across their territory of Magh Croimor. That's the last time I knew anything of her but I haven't given up my search. I am an outlaw now and no one will stand in my way.

When we raided the bruidean at Cill Dara last summer, I tangled with one of the defenders and took a nasty slash on the arm that nearly killed me. When we got near Inver Colpa, I was taken prisoner. Two healers and the smithy took pity on me and helped me to escape. The women worked an ancient spell to heal my arm. I regained strength just in time to fight in the last battle of SoB, where I discovered that my arm was supernaturally strong! In the aftermath of the battle, I found Nion, Baine, Sean and Hadaig and returned with them to Magh Croimor.

Now we ride again in the Summer of Revenge. My friends call me Nuada now because of my strong arm. I have sworn a blood oath to the outlaw band, and I enjoy this life now. My revenge is twofold, to repay the swordsman who nearly took my life in Cill Dara, and to find Briar, the only woman I ever really loved, and make her my own again.
