Asenath, I suppose you can get rid of Vista by formatting your new PC and installing the earlier version of Windows which you used before, as long as it runs in the new PC (I don't know why it shouldn't).

I dare say the fancy colour schemes ecc aren't worth the aggravation of the security center.
