and all the new computers came with Vista so I had no choice. :(
I have a feeling that I've opened a can of worms... *G*
It's only the 'new' Security Center features that suck not the whole program. Graphically speaking, it's sleeker, more options can be changed on it (ie colour schemes) etc.
It's just that blasted Security Center. You should be given the option of whether you want Windows to run your security or an outside program like Norton or McAfee. This is not the case. You can turn off all the options but the Security Center still runs underneath and I believe causes some conflict. They went overboard on the features and restrictions.
You know that ad for Apple where there are these two guys and one is a Mac computer and the other is a Windows computer with a security guy behind him? The Mac tries to talk to the Windows computer but the security guy behind the windows computer keeps saying "reject or allow".
I believe it's true with this version... Everything in Vista you have to 'allow'... LOL
