OK, so I am going a little spoiler crazy here but I know folks who are still reading and I am trying to make sure they don't get screwed.

There were a lot of deaths. Mad Eye, Fred, Tonks, Remus, Colin and Dobby. The only one I would not call major is Colin. Mad Eye and Tonks may have been more recent introductions who have not been as well developed but I thought that both characters were pretty important and have developed nicely.

I was reasonably certain that the Weasly family was not going to get through the books whole. There were simply too many targets and too likely to be involved in the big fight to get through without a death.

I was sorry to see Remus and Tonks. I wish one of them had survived but I can see them fighting side by side and the one dying to save the other and then the other dying while fighting for revenge.

I was happy to see how well Neville and Luna did. The two least respected members of Dumbledore's Army acquitted themselves quite nicely. Neville's drawing the sword from the sorting hat was awesome. I wonder how pissed off Griphook was when the sword left him and went to Nevile.

Yeah the 19 years was interesting. Especially since she said nothing of importance. All we learned was that Harry and Ginny married and had three kids, Hermione and Ron married and had two kids, Draco married and had at least one kid, and Neville was a Professor at Hogwarts. I wish she had set the epilogue at a Christmas gathering were people could be talking about their jobs and catching up. That way you could see the kids running around and learn what happened with more of the characters.
