Wow! 4,721 posts. I'm sure I wrote at least 5,000 of those, although AW only credits me with 384 of them. At least that's what it says right now for the Kash Bowl. I remember when Marie Siduri first created it September 2, 2002. When she first created it, she claimed to be using one of the rooms across the courtyard from there for her VERY impressive Library of Babylon. Anybody who does that much work on our history deserves to be remembered for it. Anybody who creates what would later become one of AW's most popular topics deserves to be remembered for that too. I remember flying to NOLA 1 with her and staying at Zig's house. Being cheap and a mooch, I also stayed at Zig's house for NOLA 2. She made her first Kash Bowl post on September 2 titled "The Welcoming Committee", but the main page of the topic shows it being created February 16, 2003, I assume it had some major work done then and that changed the creation date. Naturally, her first customer was me.....I posted 3 days later as "First Customer", and asked for credit. She never could figure out how to get rid of me. It could even be me that drove her to turn the place over to Cailie.
Jojo was the next customer, with "Entering".
Heraklia was the first foreign customer, followed immediately by Oset's post.
Vortigern was the 3rd foreign customer, with his post. Since then, it has gone through some major redecorating, largely by Cailie, through which I've mostly been passed out on the floor.
Maximius attempts to learn how to haggle here.
Perhaps my old friend, Madbat Gilgamesh's first post.
Another old fried, Cornelia's (anybody threatens to beat me up, I tell them she's my friend) first post.
Studdeley's first post, although he wasn't the first animal. A flea and Madbat beat him by a couple of pages of posts.
March 1 of 2003, Apil paid his bar tab.
Annie Lennox shows up with the Ur-ythmics, in time to sing at our Akitu.
Our first exposure to Everyman Iceni's speech impediment.
    His project.
    and Apiladey's reaction to him.
    Vee's midget bowling.

Sometime around here Vee (Voluptua Amytas) took it over from Marie

Flavia Amytas describes her character, "The Sniv".
    Everyman becomes a father.
Apiladey shows respect to the Egyptian Pharaoh.
A post that started women rushing to the Kash Bowl.
Me posting tributes to Marie at a party for her becoming a Scriba Emeritus.

At about this time (Christmas 03/New year 04) Cailie began running the place
This post and about the next 8 involved a great routine, of Carthaginians thinking the Romans were attacking in the Kash Bowl. Cailie covered about all the great posts since she took over, although she could have mentioned the 7 posts discussing her Attack Hamster (native to the area around Turkey).
