Valerius had been talking with Philandros for a while carefully avoiding all mentioning of Philandros little accident that might upset him, though trivial the conversation seem to be doing good to the greek man's memory and spirits.

But the incident was too recent and Valerius lovely lover was still week to chat with him for long periods of time so according to Phil's request Valerius summoned the young slave Demios to bring another drop of medicine that would make the patient sleep, as he placed a kiss on his friend's cheek and made for the door silently, the sweet voice of Philandros once again delighted Valerius, he wanted Valerius to come the very next day, and the Roman young man's heart beated hard in anticipation of the next day when once more he will be seeing his precious lover.

Valerius assured them that he will come back next day and he also asked what time would be better for them, having been reckless and attention seeking in the past he wanted to be prudent so e wont upset the patient.
