Just popped in to look some thing up and decided I ought to join. I have been studying this period for about a year now and enjoying the wealth of primary sources. It is most certainly wonderful to be able to see a time period in such fine detail. But where is the heavy in the tale? The man you love to hate, the arch villain, that despicable character, Publius Clodius Pulcher? Surely this story deserves its own thread. There is so much to say about him. Besides being a major player for power, he was at various times under the protection of Caesar and the triumverate. His is a fine history. How about a thread and a discussion of old Clodius. I'm in for it.
