    I was fascinated with your review, Marcus. I've been a Saylor fan for 15 years, and he was kind enough to join us at AncientSites/AncientWorlds conventions not once, but twice. Therefore I was very taken aback by my reaction to the book.

    Frankly, I didn't care for it.

    Because I like Steven so much, I haven't done a review, but one of the things I wondered was whether I simply disliked the format, and how others would have felt about it. You've shown me that there IS a place for the book; and in fact, it is the only book I know of that takes the legends of Rome's founding and works with them ;)
