LSR was pleased with the news. He wasn't exactly happy to know Mago escaped once again but at least the province was pacified. He would leave it ready for his sucessor to develop and strengthen it.

He didn't want to have a nasty surprise though. Legions I and II Citerior were to march to Iturissa (Defence: Intensive Resistance posture). Once they arrive to the colony, they are to adopt a Defence: Stronghold posture and send scouts to monitor the border.

LSR and Calpurnius Piso will join the remaining legions that are to march to Saguntum (Defence: Intensive Resistance posture).

Provincial legions are also to be reinforced to their maximum strength. Total cost of the reinforcement: D. 7,015 (D. 4,188 for the HI, D. 307 for the LI and D. 2,520 for the CAV mobilizations)
