I am delighted to welcome Louisa Agis and Marduk Hammurabi to the Events team; both go waaaaay back and know of the history we're commemorating).

Here are some ideas which have been brainstormed for initial discussion for the festival:

1. Creation of a quiz or quizzes to cover the development, history, and reality of AncientSites and AncientWorlds;

2. Work on a timeline of significant events in AW history - Cailedair Etana has volunteered to work on doing this, working with Julilla's history team;

3. A stone steel or series of ceremonial graphics where we can celebrate the names of those who've been with AS and are still with AW. This may be quite a big list! (it's amazing how many 'old' members are still with us)

4. The "Time Capsule" project. Every world would be asked to create a page that is a snapshot of its ten-year history, important members, ideas, images, etc. The idea being, they're on permanent display so, if we live so long to be here in 2017, we can look back on the time capsule pages as a memory of where we were, and where we came from.

5. The Avatar Ball. Probably on the Saturday night, a "come as your original avatar" ball, where we try to remember how we once looked to each other (for those who've kept the same main identity lol).

6. If we can get Jot to 'fix' a few bugs in the AncientWorlds book feature, I think we should put together a "Reunion Scrapbook" of neat images and links from our ten years together in one book feature.

Other than the quizzes and the Ball, these projects are good but we could use some more interactive ideas. Give it some thought and see what comes bubbling to the surface!
