Yesterday, I was looking for some of Cicero's speeches (on Verres, actually, not our wonderful quotes recently discussed here) - and I found Perseus to be so slow to load and so difficult to use, I gave it up altogether and found what I wanted elsewhere. This is NOT the first time this is happened - in fact, over the past decade, I've used Perseus surprisingly seldom because I find it unbelievably clunky to use. While nothing can detract from how wonderful it is that they are trying to build this massive classical library, if it's poorly designed so that it's hard to use (and I'm talking about a single document taking 2-3 minutes to load, if at all), I can only hope they'll do a complete revamp at some point!
Sorry, Aulus, I know you use it much more than I, but I HAVE found their tech problems to be consistent over the years.
