These following links are more Kalak'mul resources and information than general Maya links, but I thought to post them if anyone would be interested in reading more on the city of Kalak'mul. I have been meaning to put them for ages, I've had them tucked away ever since the Kalak'mul 'hood became available so I apologize for the lateness of this post. *looking sheepish*
This link is to the UNESCO World Heritage site (which is a good site to have bookmarked in general), in particular the page for the city of Kalak'mul which was included in the list in 2002.
For those that weren't aware, the ancient city of Kalak'mul is part of the The Calakmul Biosphere Reserve which also includes El Ramonal, Hormiguero, Chicanna, Rio Bec and Becan. Any interested in reading more about it should check out this page.
To compliment the biosphere reserve site is also the site for the Friends of Calakmul - a site that also discusses the Calakmul Biosphere Reserve, especially the importance of it to the indigenous jaguar population that is in danger as well as many other animals. Their site also provides an opportunity to donate to help save the rainforest, for any of those interested.
