I recall that in one of the initial episodes of Rome second season Posca was freed by Caesar in his will. So, he’s not a slave anymore, at this point, and works for Antony as a free man. In another episode (the one where Cleopatra appears) Posca even mentions financial compensations for his work for Antony.
I too read somewhere that he will marry Jocasta. Apparently, more things are in store for this character; he will have a major role in setting in motion the wheels that will culminate with Antony and Cleopatra’s defeat in Actium. Can’t wait to see that!
By the way, does anyone know if Posca was a historical character? (I don’t remember if the subject was discussed during the first season.)
