    Interesting point on Cleo and Latin - I would expect, as others have noted, that she would have learned SOME Latin if only to do business during her stay in Rome. But then, everyone (including Cicero) would have just jumped at the chance of showing off their upper-class learning by talking to her in Greek, so maybe there was no real reason for her to learn it!

    I'm still fascinated by her long stay in Rome - some sources say for a year (45 through Caesar's assassination, when we know she packed up and got the hell out of Dodge, quite wisely. Who was to say that Caesarion wasn't also in danger?) Who was running the store?
