    Tonight, Tuesday, 6 FEB, at 9 pm (eastern) they are advertising a program about the engineering behind faith-based initiatives in ancient temples. Statues with bleeding eyes was one teaser along with other bells and whistles. Gotta keep that collection plate jingling!

    Hero(n) is not mentioned, but Demetrios' comment about people in Alexandria not being duped begs for a reply. While ancient Alexandria was indeed a center of learning, there were a lot more of the common sort than the thinkers. Why, one even finds the same phenomenon today. Take, say, Boston, certainly one center of learning, and yet they re-elect Teddy Kennedy.
