    I stumbled across this quite by accident. It seems that Caesar entered the old Norse sagas as Kjárr or Kíarr, the king of the Valir (essentially the Volcae of Gallia Narbonensis). He is supposed to be the descendant of Auđi and the fatehr of a Vakyrie who married the brother of Weyland the smith. More here.
