I think some sort of plaque and/or logo is not only a good idea, but essential for promotion. Not only is this something that members can put on their various websites around the Net, a logo incorporated into a press release creates a more professional impression. Also, if we succeed in drumming up attention from various bloggers, a nice graphic may encourage them to give us a link in a sidebar. It would also provide something to put on merchandise.

Maybe some of our more artistically inclined members can come up with a few ideas. (I think a couple were floated in connection with merchandise a while ago.) We can then offer some suggestions and criticism, but I think the final decision here ought to be Jot's. It's his baby after all.

And apropos bloggers, I strongly encourage those of you from outside Rome and Hellas to do some digging, find blogs related to your world, and get the contact info to Heraklia and Kallistos. I really think that this could be one of the best ways for us to gather new members. I've tried to find some, but the fact is I just don't have the background to create effective search terms.
