I am especially keen on pushing notices in Archaeology magazine. As some know, it was the article about AS in that magazine that got me here.

I believe it was late 1997 or early 1998, when I saw that article, then checked out AS on my son's computer, as he had just gotten internet access. At that point, I was just this close to giving up my interest in antiquity, even thinking of selling my books, since there was no one here who cared one whit about history, much less Greeks, Romans and Etruscans.

The night I first laid eyes on that iconic flaming tripod, blazing on e black background on the screen, I was hooked and reborn.
