It would be useful to have more of these small "perks" for patrons, which to me seem really interesting and desirable (sitewide grams, member featuring etc) rather than the increase of the number of groups one can join, as we have now. I understand this has been until now one of the main reasons for getting a patronage, but I feel it seriously limits group participation and therefore AW participation, especially now that we have 'hoods residences.

Maybe only a few people has realized this: most use residences as personal sites, which are very nice, but I think one could fully duplicate a whole group in his/her residence, provided with a fully-fledged message board.

Groups have a reason to exist when they need to be private for some reason; otherwise, I'm afraid they are by now a thing of the past.
