Why not have both? I have read some reasons why there can't or shouldn't, but they were all specious at best. Maybe some people should spend a tenth of the time that is spent on figuring what pseudo-class controls the color of the fine text at the bottom of one's home to color coordinate to integrate both systems so any city of any time can be incorporated into a hood.
