Apocalypto, great as entertainment, but as some of the critics have suggested ,does it reflect the society in a realistic form or does the film actually do Mayan history and studies a radical dis-service?
So throwing the ball into the old ball court lets stage a debate on this thread to discuss as much as we can about the movie and the implication it has and will have on peoples perception of Ancient Mayan society as opposed to historical reality that is evidence based .
