    You certainly stumped me with that one, mainly because Demotic is not that well understood, and is definitely not my forté.

    So, I asked a colleague for whom the later versions of Egyptian, including Demotic, are more his area of expertise. He replied:

    The best I could find was Coptic: that is μιο mio + suffix (miok [masc.]; μιω miō [fem.]; μιωτη miōtē [pl.]).

    Demotic isn’t going to be a lot different.

    I hope this assisted (and I hope the Greek and Coptic letters turn out OK: we had the devil of the time transferring them into this format).
