Hello Members of Ancient Worlds: I also wanted to stop here and thank everyone for the unbelievably nice and warm welcome to your Symposion from you all, and especially the kind gifts. I apparently have "recipes," a bottle of wine, and so on. I am truly overwhelmed. :)

The Per created for me by Asenath is spectacular: one could really "feel at home" in such a lovely residence - shame it's only virtual. :)

I hope to be providing links to a variety of scholarly Internet resources in my Per during the week as part of my "Articles" (I'm afraid I'm not much for role play, though), so I hope even once the week is gone that the Per will still remain for reference, just in case I can't keep on in Ancient Worlds after the week is over.

My hope is that everyone will not be shy and ask what they can. As Heraklia has noted, we are separated by many time zones (I am in GMT +000 and I assume many of you are in the US, which means anywhere from a 5-8+ hour differential). Sunday was a very difficult time for me to check in for a number of reasons, but I am available now to answer queries if you have them.

I will try and check in as much as 3-4 times per day in case there are queries with whichI can assist. However, I probably won't know answers to everything (let's say that if I don't know the answer myself, I know of a source which does. :) ).
