This is probably as stupid a question as it gets, but I'll ask it nonetheless.

My subscription for Symantec's Norton Anti-virus expired, and every time I try to renew it I get an error message ("We can't process your request now, please try again later") so in the meantime I downloaded AVG Free Edition and AVG Anti-Spyware.

Here's the stupid question: can I just forget about Norton (unistall it) and be confident that I am as well protected with Grisoft's software?
