Cn. Ulpius Sisenna, the "Palestinus" after his triumph, rises on the Rostra in toga candida but with golden plaits. A choir of trumpets sounds behind him while a group of young girls distributes hundreds of cakes among the public.
All the images of his ancestors are in a semicircle on the Rostra. There are 100 marble portraits or so. It looks like a forest of statues.


Quirites!!

I appear before you on this sacred rostra, surrounded by the images of my glorious forbears, to ask for yours vote in the elections. My family doesn´t need presentation before you.
We live in this city from times of Romulus or before and we have fought hardly to increase the power of Rome and her Gods from her foundation. Many of my ancestors have been praetors, consuls, quaestores, pontifices and magistrates, offering their life and wealths in honor of a great ideal: Themselv.... gasp... Rome!
Look that image, the famous consul Ulpis Sisenna "Castrator Maximus", which taught to the Samnites the virtues of our politics of demographic control.
As the military tribune Ulpius Sisenna "Optimistus" who charged against Pyrrus's elephants for increasing the moral of his men shouting his great phrase: "Let´s go, they are just horrible beasts!".
As the cuestor Ulpius Sisenna "Juicerus" who increased the taxes of the Sardinians +200%.
As the propraetor Ulpius Sisenna "Superviator" who showed to the Sicilians that it was possible to build a tunnel under the Etna in eruption using chained voluntary workers.
So a long and long list of more Ulpius Sisennas always living in favour of Rome.
I want to continue their wonderful legacy. But I offer my hands and support for all the citizens, plebeians and patricians, to create an even stronger and powerful Rome where all the citizens can have the same opportunities to extend the roman law and the reign of the Justice in our provinces.
Vote for me, romans, I was triumphator in East, was propraetor in Baetica, praetor in Narbonensis and quaestor in Tarraconensis. I´m a magistrate for the people and I promise that you´ll have a true roman consul favoring yours business in provinces or defending your rights in the city. I too promise celebrations each month paid by me for the citizens.
Vote for a consul son of a lineage of consuls, a brother of the patricians and a father for the plebeians, a true roman of the Ulpia Sisenna family.
