Museo Egizio, Torino or Egyptian Museum, Turin, Italy, is another famous European museum with a fantastic collection. It houses the tomb of Architect Ka, painted linen from the Naqada period, the masterpiece dioite statue of Ramesses II wearing the helmet of war, and lots of other priceless artifacts. When I was there, they also had a wonderful model of the tomb of Nefertari which nearly took my breath away.

The website is very good, not as elaborate as the Louvrenīs site but well functioning and with a nice gallery of the most important pieces with info on them.

Should definitely be visited (both website and museum) - donīt miss out on it if you go to Northern Italy!
