There is no easy way for me to break this to all of you, other than to say very, very sadly that our dear Fabio 'CFM' Cavalieri died last night.

Fabio was taken ill on Thursday with a bad headache and was taken to hospital where he slipped into a coma. A brain aneurism was diagnosed and an operation followed, which appeared to have gone well, though the doctors reserved diagnosis for 21 days during which time he would be kept under pharmacologically induced coma.

Sadly, it appears his system was not up to fighting the damage and his body began to give in leading to his death last night.

I am at a loss for words to describe how I feel about losing Fabio in this way.

As some of you will know, despite speaking daily for about 2 years, Fabio and I never actually met in person, web cam chat and phone calls are as close as we got to seeing each other. I find it hard to come to terms with the fact I have lost a true friend I will now never meet in person.

I will let you all have information regarding the funeral day, date etc in case anyone wants to send messages or, if enough are willing we may want to join together to send a fitting Imperium tribute to our beloved Censor.

I suggest that as a mark of respect, the game is suspended temporarily, with only discussion about Fabio until after the funeral.
