I'm in a grump about tonight's episode of Ancient Rome. I'd expected so much after Nero last week.

Caesar was portrayed as a glory-hunting, decimating, not in the least bit charasmatic lunatic. And they only covered Alesia, Pharsalus and his assassination (and even that in not much depth).

Deeply unsatisfactory. Did anyone else see it?
