im not trying to make an excuses on what in the past of Islamic history. If I may suggest you should check how the prophet Muhammad treat a non muslim citizen at Medina city, especially christians.
The prophet once said:"the golden time for the Muslim people is now (when the prophet is still around), and after it (the chaliph Abu bakr time), and after it (the Chaliph Omar time), and after it (the chaliph Uthman time), and after it is just a lot fatan (defamation)".
So folks, please make a strict to judge the Islam not by its Muslims, especially athis time of days. May the defamation end, Insya Allah.
