I agree with Heraklia. I think the April 44 date might be of a Cicero letter, but not of Caesarion's birth which is given as June 23, 47 BCE. In fact, this last of the Ptolemies was installed as co-ruler with his mother, Cleopatra, in April 44. When I get home tonight I'll open my translation of Cicero's letters and see if I can find the April 44 letter.
