Just a few general facts for those who still need an explanation!
You can now go to any 'hood in AncientWorlds (the list of hoods is usually on the home page of that world, somewhere in the center) and buy property in the district you want. I say district because if you go to Rome, you won't see a thing - but if you go to the Aventine Hill, or theh Palatine Hill, you will see, in the upper left-hand corner, a box showing that you can buy property IN that district.
Non-patrons can only buy the smallest property in any given hood; the names change (hut; casa; or more). That's our freebie. For our patrons, there's no limit to what you can buy except that you use site currency, which will come out of your "cashbox" at your home (to see how much you have, go to your main domus page and look to the far right where it lists your grams, posts, etc. You'll see one for "cashbox").
Once you've 'bought' a property, you can follow the directions on how to set it up!
Almost every world has, or is developing, a decoration thread to help you in your choice of backgrounds and more. We'll try to post the links to these as they are developed!
Happy Homing!
