Took an owl coin off its background with a circular marquee (Photoshop Elements 3 used) leaving a bit of the background (greyish tan) on, another marquee carefully extracted the owl; clicking the Wacky Metallic Bevel caused the twisted metal outer ring, which I then pasted in the owl; I then experimented with Drop & Inner Shadows, Inner & Outer Glows on the pasted in Owl layer until the coin looked like it belonged to the ring. What did I do this for? After getting a dedicated email for AW at Yahoo, I thought I'd create a plaque or button; seeing my friend Alerissa Nestor on the commPanel I grammed her and when she suggested an owl if I was into Harry Potter, I asked about the owl symbol in Greek culture and... She showed me an ancient coin and the rest you already know! Er... yes. The reason there are two is so the second can be the mouse-down version; that is, when the mouse is clicked, the second provides positive visual feedback that it has been pressed. image 103569 image 103570
