As Maria has noted, we're trying to get some of our best Roman talent lined up to help 'build' our resources base - backgrounds, graphics, bars, decorative items - for when the 'hoods go public and just about everyone can finally 'build' their villa or domus in Baiae, Africa, wherever in the Empire. We hope to coordinate this decoration thread with the group Domus Depot (link below), which is a group specializing in home decor for Roman members of AncientWorlds. (you don't have to be a member to use good stuff from the DD, or you can post it here as well).
We are specially interested in our Roman talent who can put together color-coordinated designs, and SIMPLE instructions, so that a new Roman can fairly quickly find and put up a design at his/her domus which will emphasize our Roman art and architecture. We're also looking for people who have great images they are willing to share - courtyards, fountains, peristyle gardens, the lot! So if you're like me and, over the years, have acquired tons of fun Roman graphics, it would be lovely to share, especially for our newer and less-html-expert members.
Please contact either Rome's scribes, Livia Servilius, or Heraklia Aelius, if you think your talents can improve the look and feel of Rome. Gratias tibi ago!
