Yikes! Boy did he commit a few faux pas! He not only entered into an illegal contract, think of the violations he committed against his friends....one of whom is a girl child. Since the age isn't given, its hard to assess how severe the penalty for the injury to the child is. Any injury against a child between baptism and the age of seven carries a stiff penalty.....though that may be partially due to the influence of the Church.
And injuries these are.......there are few things that carried a greater fear for the Celts than the loss of status....and he basically sold these two 'friend's' status.
tsk...tsk...tsk....
