The images are coming through fine now. I guess the "tubes" were just too full or something.

I also tend to think of the Getty as the old villa. I took a class trip there nearly 30 years ago and the new building opened after I left LA.

Sulla's memoirs would be good, or the life of Brutus by his stepson. Alas, one of the things I'd really like to find can't be there: the missing chapters of Tacitus. But you know, even the equivalent of "Bridges of Madison County" would be good. We could learn so much about everyday life in Rome.
