There shall be more than one RP storyline. In fact, there's already another one open and where posting should start very soon: Dark Enchantment. Actually, it is already open - check the thread header for more informations. I'm pretty sure Shi Mei will post more very soon. There's also another sort of writing event we're trying to come up with Shi Mei, although that one may take a little time planning, but be sure we'll let you know as soon as we can.

As for the rules to the several RP that are in the making, or in the future, maybe we should post them both here and in the RP thread header? And maybe post them again in the first post of the RP thread, and have as a rule not to post on a RP thread until that initial post is made? What do you all think? It's just a suggestion to keep from further confusion and frustration down the road :-)

As for what happened yesterday, I've heard/read both sides of the story and obviously it wasn't quite the same. Since I wasn't there, I guess it's not my place to judge. I just would like to remind something: just for the record, level 5 technically cannot delete posts (although they can delete threads, so I don't know what happens to individual posts in that case). But we can't delete an individual post, unless it's our own. We don't have the "delete" button available, only the "edit" and "add image" ones. I believe only level 6 can delete indivudal posts, if my memory serves me well, and the demis (scribes cannot delete posts either btw). So Ward, no need to worry about Balbas deleting your post on this thread - he can't, (and I doubt he would consider deleting the whole thread either).

As for the edit, posts should never ever be edited without their author's agreement. Editing someone else's post is a big no-no otherwise, even if the post contains material that violates the CoC - in that case, refer to the group's leader who may want to turn to the scribes or demis for assistance.

About participation: ok, I am not the group leader, but I don't think I'm too off the mark by saying that people are welcome to participate at their own rhythm, as it should be. Especially since it's July and people will probably, for the most part, go on holiday at one point or another over the next couple of months, and I expect everyone will understand that (that being said, it is true that one could expect a stronger participation from admin levels: in that regard, Ramla's interrogation about my whereabouts were perfectly legitimate *g* And yes, I often visit the group under other guises. Usually though, people end up guessing at my main persona here pretty quickly, LOL)

This whole affair shall be investigated. But I also hope that it will not dampen the good spirit that has dominated the group so far. There are tons of great things to do here, and we haven't even scratched the surface yet. I say let's begin to do so ;-)
