    Actually, I think you can admire Cicero as both a man and a politican. It seems a little one-sided here, to say the least. I note that Elizabeth Rawson, Thomas Mitchell and Shackleton Bailey all grow to like Cicero and admire him a little. Perhaps grudgingly, but nevertheless all these fine scholars come to like Cicero.
