I think I got a bit ahead of myself.

Myst is waaaaaaaay to complicated to meld into Hogwarts culture, and the angle I chose on a second and third reading just didn't work. Tried to rework it several times (no pun intended), and I couldn't get it to make sense.

What to do? It is very easy to combine Harry Potter with the movie Timeline, the latter being a device to flip back and forth in time. The book and movie by Michael Chrichton discuss a battle between French & English in 1357 during The Hundred Years War, which if combined with wizards and witches would make a fine (& simple) first RP.

All the historical characters in Timeline are real and open for research. HP is, of course, very approachable, and most people here at Otherworld have probably read the books and watched the films.

Anyway, the RP description is being finalized now, so it shouldn't be too long before you can start posting.
