I never knew there were so many different nuances to eating with chopsticks in different cultures. I was familiar with Japanese style, but I never knew that lifting up the rice bowl was considered rude in Korea. Goodness, if they can't pick up the bowl, then how do they eat the rice without spilling it? It is all I can do to keep mine under control at the sushi bar. LOL!
